Hi ladies,
I've been on yt for quite while and I have done some videos in the past but I did/do not get much views.

I was thinking what might be that doesn't attract people.

I would really like your opinions about thinks that make you skip clicking on that video. I have some thinks that I think may be the cause, let me know if you have more.

Ofcourse everybody is different but I just want a general idea.

- Doing video with hair in a ponytail or not done.

- The names of the video?

After they watch the video.
-I'm not an English speaker, so I guess when you don't speak clear and seem kinda slow. In these cases are text better?

I hope I get some feedback, thanks in advance. :)

I agree with everything you said! I believe presenting yourself well is most important so even though it is a hassle I do my hair and makeup before filming. I think people lose interest quickly when people don't speak clearly or with confidence. I say go for text and music to give your vids more pizazz. Good luck!

Thank you for your feedback. I will that into account doing my hair. :)

I do my hair before filming... my bangs are straightened and my hair is hairsprayed, but duuuude, I cannot stand having my hair in my face when I'm doing makeup so I put it to the side. I think people have more of a pet peeve with people constantly touching with their hair. "OH MY GOD STOP TOUCHING YOUR HAIR THERE ARE HAIR CLIPS FOR A REASON!!!~`1!!!". Hahaha, I've seen that.

I also suggest really tagging your videos, really. If I wasn't doing videos for Korean pop music and tagging artist names, I wouldn't have gotten the amount of views I had gotten on videos.

THanks for the feedback. Taking notes, tag video, pay attention to names for the video, eye contact and exclude unnecessarily footage.

Thanks girls. :)

I don't mind ponytailed hair, I definitely prefer that to hair touching! That will drive me nuts. Also, rambling turns me off. If your video is supposed to be on one topic but you're going on and on about the weather or why you've been gone from youtube...I will probably click away. I like videos to be about the topic they say they're about!

Basically what everyone else says. But something that also turns me off is when someone is filming in their bathroom. Or with a seriously low quality camera (that's the whole reason why I don't have any videos yet. I'm saving up!). Shoot your video in your bedroom if you can, and make sure your bedroom is clean. Really, just make sure that where you film is clean. And if you are filming in your bathroom, I don't want to see the toilet. haha

Thanks Amanda, I personally don't mind bathroom, unless like you said I can see the toilet. There some woman on YT that has these gorgeous bathroom lol.

But thank you for your feedback. I personally wouldn't do makeup videos in my bathroom either. :)
