I like SOME ELF products but like Terra said it's very much more a MISS than a hit. The brushes are decent but the lip glosses and nail polishes are not for me. The darker shadows are very pigmented, can stain, while the lighter tend to be chalky. The mineral shadows on the other hand are really nice and if you foil the mineral shadows those pop. The liquid eyeliners are okay while the kohl ones are really nice. I HATE the mascara though as those tend to dry out too quickly. I use to love ELF but lately haven't really cared for their products.

For me personally, ELF is amazing. More hit than miss. I've only had like, 2 miss products so far.

I went a little bit Elf mad this year and found more miss that hit products. Although there are a good few that i use regularly :)

ELF is really good especially for the price and if it is a miss you're not out much just for trying it out. I use the gel liners just about daily. And they are $3.

I've yet to have been "wow'd" by any cosmetic ELF product... however, I am a VERY big fan of their Studio Line brush set, brush belt and brush holders... Of all the things I've tried from their site, the non-makeup items were what impressed me the most.

I think the Studio line overall has more hits than misses. I'm not a fan of the liquid liners or the mascaras (very dry and flakey), or the white-handled brushes.

i love elf. you just need to find the products that work really well for you. since it's so cheap, it's not so bad but i can see why a lot of people just avoid it all together

I tried the eyeshadows recently....complete miss. My lids itched like crazy and I only found relief when I removed with my facial cleanser.
