Becoming a Natural is a lot of hard work, but a tip would be to learn to trim your own hair. Even if a friend tells you they will do it for free. Say no thank you. Take it from me, its hard I am at the point where I do not even know what to do. Just remember, trim your own hair, trim your own hair, trim your own hair :]

Hey, I'm natural too!
I still haven't learned to trim my own hair. When I went to get a trim the hairstylist I went to would only trim my hair straightened, I didn't really like that, but she did a nice job.
Did your friend try to trim it curly?

Yea, this time she did it curly I actually learned how to trim my hair by watching other naturals on yt, but I was like oh its my girl let me just let her do it, I shoulda listen to my first instinct
How are you enjoying your hair??

Yeah definitely listen to your instinct.
I'm loving my hair so far - I've been natural since February, so 9 months. It doesn't seem that long! I've straightened it about 3 times so far and contemplating straightening again tonight haha.
What about you? How long have you been natural?

i always get my hair trimmed by my hairdresser, since i have curly hair i trust her completly with it because she cuts it dry and has done an amazing job, i don't trust myself enough to cut it
