Hey, Beauties!
Just wanted to start up a thread about the Beauty Social. What did you guys think?
As a casual beauty blog/vlog consumer, I didn't think I would get much from the talks but I was thoroughly entertained and thought it inspired a lot of self-reflection. It was awesome to see how passionate people are about their craft.
Besides the "I will never forget you Kandee" story, I think my favorite part was scanning the audience and seeing Billy B in the crowd, listening to someone else's presentation. When he says he is inspired by the front line beauties, he means it. I would expect most big names to bounce after their segment but he is awesome.
Also, kudos to all of you. You looked fantastic. Awesome shoes, hairdos, and makeup all around!

I'm surprised no one else is talking about their experiences from The Beauty Social!!! This there another thread I'm missing? Well I'll share my experience here :) I had a good time, I went Sunday only. I was a little nervous because I went alone but I'm glad I put myself out there. I met some new people and got to say hi to some of my favorite bloggers/youtubers! I loved the talks, they were really interesting and fun to listen too.
I loved the activities that they had going on too...they only bummer was some of the booths filled up with appointments for the ENTIRE day so fast! I wanted to get my brows done so bad, they said come back at 11:40 to make an appt, I got there at 11:50 they were booked :( Also CND Shellac Manicures and the Lash Extensions were booked all day too. But I got my foundation done twice, first at Cover FX then a couple hours later at Temptu. I loved the glitter tattoo from Urban Decay, I got a gold rose. Got my hair braid at Wella which was nice. Also tried Fresh Sugar Lip for the first time and I loooved it, I want to buy some now!
Another thing I thought the booths would be selling some of the items they were showing casing, I wanted to buy some things but they weren't. BUT the goodie bag was freaking AWESOME!!!
Overall great event, I will definitely be attending next year!
