hi. anyone else a new mother? have any tips to share for the sleep deprived with no time?
here are mine, would love to hear from other moms
1. eyelash extensions - ~1.5 hours per month (includes driving) vs. 5 mins per day (~2.5 hours per month)
2. image brand acne system - inexpensive and effective way to counteract the crazy hormones
3. wear hair wavy - no time for straight irons or curling irons. i give myself princess leia buns for an hour while doing the morning routine with baby
4. jane iredale liquid minerals foundation - good coverage means no need for concealer plus it's matte, so no need for powder

As a mother of three I have many secrets to share but not enough space or time. My all time fave was using a tinted moisturizer that included sunscreen. It saved a lot of time instead of having to wait between each application of moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation for it to all set. And then a quick dusting of loose powder and I was ready to face the day. Also eyelash tinting helped as well.

I have 2 boys and though my youngest is 3.5 (so the newborn days are over for me) I'd say one of my tricks was showering at night while the little ones were asleep, putting my hair up in 2 buns, and sleeping on it. I have super thick hair but it would still be mostly dry by morning and I'd end up with some loose curls :) Also, I used a lot of highlighter under my eyes to reflect light from the dark circles ;) Just a dab of Benefit Moon Beam under each eye and I looked a lot better haha.
