As you can see in my pic, my natural hair color is brown that is almost black. I've never really experimented with coloring because I feel like the only option I have is pure black. Any suggestions? Could I go a bit lighter for the summer? Looking natural is important.

Be careful as in summer your hair condition suffers as it is, perhaps try a lovely shiny gloss at the salon which will add more shine and reflect light better. Not too pricy and actually help moisturize :)

Well I've been taking a break from heat tools this summer as well as taking vitamins/doing treatments on it for the summer.. I used to have long hair and It's almost back. I love hair and experimenting with it, but I just don't want to do anything that I'll regret later! A gloss sounds interesting..does it change the color at all?
