Hello! :)
Does anyone have any mascara advice for me?
I have short, straight eyelashes & can only seem to use mascara with a soft brush.
Any advice of a suitable product would be great!

I have stubborn straight lashes and I use the Covergirl Lashblast Volume Mascara (waterproof). It really helps to keep my curl :)

My favorite is Maybelline The Falsies. It makes my lashes longer than any other mascara I've tried. For volume, I like Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black. Mascara is a really personal type of thing, though, and results are going to vary depending on the person. But those are the two that work best for me.
Also, I'd suggest starting off with a primer before putting on your mascara. That may give you a bit more length. You could also try some those new lash serums for growth, maybe?
Another option is a fiber mascara. Those have little pieces of fiber in them that grab on to your lashes and make them look longer and fuller.
If all else fails, you could invest in some false lashes. Once I tried them, I became addicted and almost always wear them now haha

My lashes are also super short and I can't afford to wear falsies everyday, but it's pretty easy to make them look longer. Of course you'd want a really black mascara to make them show. You apply 2 or 3 coats, I usually like to use 2 different mascaras for each coat, one for volume and one for length. And then the last coat, you just put it on the tips and that makes your lashes look a little longer. I usually don't use a lash curler but I'm sure that makes it even better.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto is great for lengthening. I doesn't give much volume but doesn't clump up at all. There are lash growing formulas out there but be careful and research ingredients. http://www.beautylish.com/a/vmauv/fda-rapid-lash

You definatley need the L'oreal VOLUMINOUS mascera(carbon black). If you look on YouTube, and you see the reviews of this product you will want to buy it. It is the best drugstore mascera i have tried (and ive tried a lot) PLUS, its one of the cheapest! under 6.00! Go try it!

The make up for ever aqua smokey lash! It's honestly amazing. You need the aqua because it's the water proof one and it will hold the curl MUCH better than non waterprook.

I agree w/ Courtney A. - I have average lashes - they're nothing special. Not short, not long... not curly nor straight. They're just... there. MUFE Smokey Lash Aqua gives me the appearance of false lashes w/ no clumping, drooping or flaking! It's super hard to take off, but comes off easy w/ their Sense Eyes remover. Try it!

Michelle phan posted a video about the perfect mascara. Her eyelashes are as she said almost "not-existent" and they are very sparse. Her tip for people with fine lashes was to use a thicker formulated mascara(usually volumizing mascaras are thicker) if you want to find out more about it, the video is called mascara101 (sorry I can't link I'm on my phone)
