People in Texas do not have problems with gay people. There are many gay communities in Austin and Dallas. Granted smaller communities are more conservative, like all small towns, but the large cities have a diverse set of people.

I think anywhere you go you're gonna have people that dislike gay people...lol it's not just a "texas thing".
I'm not from Texas...but all my siblings and their families live out there! They all live in/around Houston. How are you liking that humid heat? haha.

I"m from Texas! And I agree with some of the above statements. Anywhere you go, you are going to run into people who don't like the people who seem to change the natural balance. I happen to have no problem with gay people at all. As for the people sleepin' with their cousins, thats Arkansas :)
