I am looking for a way to wear lipsticks without getting them on my bf when I give him lil' kisses. He hates walking around with lipstick on his cheek. I know powders set liquids for the rest of the face, but is there an equivalent for lips? I have tried glosses but he dislikes the feeling of gloss just as much.

Glosses are a no-no. How about blotting your lip color right before kissing him?

Try patting the coloir on your lips instead applying it straight from the tube, just so your lips are stained a little, but not so little that there is almost no colour payoff.

try using a stain instead so u can still have color and it will last even after you kiss him! revlon and covergirl both make great ones:)

I just don't wear lipstick/gloss around him. He LOVES my natural lip color so it's no big deal - Unless we're on a date out, I wont wear any lip products - & when I do, I don't kiss him as much or he just deals with it w/ small pecks.
I've learned that I have to sacrifice my love for lippies when I'm w/ him. haha

Maybelline 24 hour Lipcolor is nice, it doesn't flake off like MAC's and Covergirls'.

Lay a piece of tissue over your lips and dust some translucent powder over it. That will help seal your lipstick and absorb any excess oils/moisture on your lips that can transfer pigment onto your man. =)

haha, tell him you're just not going to kiss him =]
nah, Benefit's She-laq is a makeup sealant. i use it on my lips. or just try a lipstain. OR try mac's longwears, the ones that last ages, with the clear gloss at the other end. i think that was the first red i ever tried. lovely!

Id suggest trying a lip stain. You may have to reapply a bit more, but the color doesnt transfer, and they have a variety of different colors.

Try using a lip stain! Tarte has some ones that are sooo pigmented they look like lipsticks! Also use a chapstick over top to give yourself a little "just in case" layer :)

OCC lip tars seriously do not go anywhere! Very long lasting and INTENSE color payoff. And a bunch of colors too, and you can mix them to custom create the perfect shade for you!

@brianna I was looking for an excuse to get them. I just need to wait for them to go on sale.
I think I might try a lip-stain and see how those work until I have saved up for the liptars.
Thanks for all the suggestions!!!

Try some liquid lipstick. Many of them dry and won't rub off when you kiss someone. Kat Von D makes one that's great, and so does lime crime
