Being beautiful is not about buying brand name clothing or using expensive makeup.

Spending lots of money on clothing, makeup and for what, i do love makeup and fashion but i can dress better and look good just shopping in a local mall. Whats a reason of buying clothing or makeup that you can hardly afford just to look good on YouTube. Im not being judgmental your money spend on what ever you want but it looks like pressure is on.

I don't buy the more expensive makeup to "look more beautiful" or whatever.. I just buy it because you can't always get the quality you can get with drugstore. You definitely can sometimes! However, makeup is the one thing that I really like. I rarely even go shopping for clothes because I absolutely hate it! I rarely ever think clothes I put on look good. So.. I go for the makeup instead because I could pick anything and it will "fit." I don't know if it's making any sense.. what I'm saying. I doubt it is. But I guess what I'm trying to say is.. that I buy that makeup for me.. not for anyone else.

:) i defiantly do understand what you mean about the quality that it's better but i guess i didn't explain my topic correctional all i meant is that you get this expectation put on you that by not having all the expensive things you clearly not going to fit in. I watched some of the youtube "Gurus" and they have more makeup that Sephora store can carry and for what just because to say " oh i have this collection or this"....

Oh! Yeah I totally understand that. I couldn't stand having all of that makeup. It bothers me when I know I'm not using everything at least every now and then! I don't buy things that I don't need because I really like to finish what I have and not be wasteful! I really don't even understand how these people have the money to buy collection after collection! I don't think I own one thing from a collection! They seem so hit or miss anyways! I totally get what you're trying to say now. It is ridiculous that it's like that. :/

I know what you mean... I mean, I'm trying to expand my collection, but I like to stick to what I know I'm going to use more... mainly eyeshadows which I actually try to mix up quite often... though I'm also trying to get more of a variation of lipsticks and glosses. But, I only have one foundation and powder... I don't feel like I need a ridiculous amount of blushes either. I'm also always afraid of buying things that are too similar, so I thoroughly examine them to make sure I don't have another color just like it. XD Having 10 colors that look nearly the same is pointless and such a waste... I also can't figure out the point of multiple foundations... unless one is for when you're tan.
