I think a good way to get subscribers is to do video responses, especially to contests! I know when a guru hosts a contest and asks for video responses I literally try to watch all of the video responses! Also video response to "Tags" and everything like that. :) Maybe also try making a video that a lot of people search for on youtube...like a Whats in my purse video, or a hair scrunching tutorial, celebrity inspired makeup/hair tutorials, how to do a smokey eye...you get the point :) just stuff like that!

I watched some of your videos and I don't think you're doing anything wrong! There's just so many beauty vloggers on youtube so its hard to sift through them all and everybody gets stuck on watching the more well-known gurus, but I'm sure you'll get viewers, it just takes time! :) Good luck!

I try to tweet gurus with more viewers one of my videos and hope they retweet me.. lol

I know that sounds lame, but it's a nice kick to getting your name out there!
