In what I noticed when im doing makeup is that I get so eager to see how it will turn out that I kinda rush...lol... so when im done and im ready to take a picture to put up on my FB I notice little things that I missed just looking in the mirror.
So my tip/trick is to take a picture of ur makeup with and without a flash and study the photo. It helps me

But I don't put it on FB I just put it in my FOTD folder on my desktop for future posts :)

Yeah I put mine on FB bc that's was the only social network I was on currently and ppl were always asking me what I did in my regular photos. But yes the camera will show you certain things. But you kno you always see what other ppl don't

That is exactly what I do when I am sculpting too! Every 30 minutes to an hour I will take a photo and things will stand out that need to be changed.

I do that as well, Im surprised by half the things I notice when doing so, that I didn't notice just glancing in the mirror... !

I usually just look in a bunch of mirrors in different rooms. I'll use my makeup mirror, by full size mirror, the mirror in my bathroom, my parents bathroom and then in the front room/music room. They're all on my way out of my house and they all have different lighting. I haven't missed any flaws since I've started doing this!

I make sure I look at myself in a window with full-on sunlight. Harsh sun light can show the biggest of flaws, so it's the easiest for me to spot things out.
