My awesome camera is so old that it stopped working. So, sadly I have to use my webcam to record videos.
Does anyone know of budget-friendly HD cameras?
I mean $150 or less!
I found one at wal-mart but I'd never heard of the brand before. So I was iffy.

It's really hard to find really good cameras on the cheap. Last summer I purchased another camera after mine was falling apart. I asked the sales rep if it was good for making vids and had good focus. He said yes of course and I spent my $250 on a Sony Cybershot. Bad Idea. It's not horrible, but my camera's focus is not the greatest. I'm on the hunt for a good camera as well.
Anywho, my advice would be to stick it out a little longer and save up for a good camera. It's worth it. But if you can't hold off, you can always get the Flip HD Camcorders. You can also search on Amazon.com for "HD Cameras" and there's a couple digital cameras that are under $150 from Kodak & Vivitar.
Good luck! :)

Well...I could go over and buy the Canon PowerShot ELPH for $280...It's pretty decent I think?

Looks like a pretty good cam. What'd I'd also do is check on Youtube. Search the camera name and see videos taken with the camera and reviews and see if you like!
