how can you tell what undertones you have? im looking into some new mineral makeup and they have all the foundation colors catagorized by undertone colors...HELP!!! thanks

go out in the sun, hold your forearm out with your hand facing up. look at the veins in your wrist. if they're green, you have a yellow/cool undertone. if they're blue, you have a red/warm undertone.:) simple simple way to tell.:)

green and red cancel each other out. so if you're veins are green, you have yellow undertones.:) it all has to do with the color wheel.

Just a heads up, if you are having a difficult time seeing either cool or warm undertones remember that you can be neutral also!

thanks for the tips. im very pale and my veins are blue. i can wear blue but if i wear something to bright it washes me out. the good thing about the company im looking at for foundation has samples available.

by looking at the pictures you have posted, u have pink (warm) undertones.
