Hey! I'm going to Vans Warped Tour on July 10th and this is my first time going so i'm not really sure what to expect.

I know that I will be wearing shorts, a tank top, and vans but I don't know what to bring besides sunscreen and money.

If you could leave some tips for me that'd be great!

Thanks :)

bring something for water. when i went, water bottles were like $6 each. and it gets sooooo hot. fill it up in the bathroom sink! seriously!

Vans Warped Tour is tough!
- like listed above, make sure to bring something for water. I didn't and this was a HUGE mistake because the water there is ridiculously expensive, or far (depending if the venues you go to have water fountains.)
- bring sunglasses to protect your eyes. particularly ones you don't really care about too much because you might get them knocked off by itchy fans or drop them in the midst of a crowd.
- WEAR SUNSCREEN. You'll be out in the sun all day and you'll probably get sunburned, so do your part to prevent this as much as possible.
- bring a sweater (optional; only if you feel it is necessary for the night-time chills)
- wear closed-toed shoes. again, Warped Tour-ers usually aren't friendly to toesies.
- maybe bring a hat, and a hair tie around your wrist so you can tie up your hair if necessary

& most importantly, bring a small BACKPACK to put this all in. maybe like a drawstring one. do not bring a shoulder bag/tote. you'll want your hands free for proper ROCKING OUT MODE ;)

note: Cameras are fun to bring, but not one that you love because odds are, it might get knocked out of your hands and onto the ground. no no. :( If you do feel to bring it, have your camera have a wrist string, so you can protect it while trying to shoot pics of your favorite artists.

Hope I helped!

make sure to stay hydrated. its very hot outside and kinda dusty which will make you get dehydrated quickly. make sure to put lots of sunscreen on. i go every year and i burn every year haha try pairing a cute hat and some sunglasses to protect your scalp from getting sunburned as well. bring a light sweater for later on, just in case if it gets a little cool but other then that you should be good. have fun! :)

Warped is no where to try & stay pretty. Take water & sunglasses & sunscreen. There's enough portable hand-wash stations to keep hands feeling clean. Don't take ANYTHING unessesary, & if you can, don't wear ANY face make up. You'll feel 1000x better. Everybody will look sweaty & terrible by the end of the day anyway. XD
-Your feet will get stepped on so wear the MOST comfortable shoes you have. Ones that you don't mind getting dirty & make sure they're worn in well so you wont get any blisters.
-If you're taking a purse/bag, make sure it has a long strap that wraps over your shoulder/body - again, nothing too cute, just make sure it sits over your shoulder comfortably. Oh & it NEEDS a latch/zipper, you never know if a theif is there. Plus, I can't even begin to tell you how many snotty girls take cute open purses, look back at you & scream "OMFG, Don't stick your hand in my pursee!!" when you're just standing there, lol
-bring a hair tie or go with your hair tied up to begin with. Comfort is your #2 worry behind hydration.

Warped is one of those things you'll look back on 20 years from now & think "How did I EVER do that?!" It's an intense, fun experience. Have fun!
