Make up Forever primer in green? thoughts?

i'm considering buying it but since it's 32 dollars i'm not sure if i should spend the money if it doesnt work.

It's a nice formula, but what I've noticed that if you haven't exfoliated or have dry, rough patches on the skin, the green pigment kind of clings onto those areas and leaves it green. If the texture of your skin is fine and it's just discoloration you're concerned with, it looks great. If it's just a little redness around the nose or something, then it's really not worth it, in my opinion.

yeah i have some dry patches around my nose and my chin area and thats where i get most red /: and around my eyebrows. it just sucks when i do my makeup all pretty and then my face is red you know what i mean? i want something that'll reduce it or cover it all.

don't be scared! i work for sephora and we give out samples all the time. we're actually graded through the survey that our clients can take on whether we gave a sample or not. :)

I LOVE that stuff! I've flip flopped between their reg. white primer and green primer, but the green one I fancy more. I have a lot of redness that occurs on my face from old acne scars, veins, capillaries, horomonal changes, etc. - and it's literally a photoshop tool underneath my foundation! I do agree with the comment that it can cling to dry patches, but that's no problem if you exfoliate well and moisturize prior to applying your makeup. I find the white formula does not cling as much as the green, but the green one is more beneficial to my needs.

I also love that stuff way better than the smashbox primer and many others. I like how these are formulated to feel more like a moisturizer and I don't feel like I just rubbed silicone all over and I have a face made of teflon...  =P

I am very fair and also have red patchy skin. I tried the sample from MUFE and personally did not see much of a difference and didn't really like it. I just ended up purchasing some great concealer that covered up the red areas for me.

i got a sample of the MUFE one, and they insisted i try the smashbox one. i notice more with the MUFE one, but its not as much of a difference as i'd like. maybe if i use a different foundation with it? i'm not sure of my feelings with this product yet.

I have the Smashbox one. It's the same formula as the clear primer and doesn't really do much for covering my red areas. Instead I use Physicians Formula color correcter in green to cancel out redness (like around my nose). It's hard to find a good 2 for 1 product like a primer AND a concealer : /

I've used the MUFE green primer, the smashbox green primer, and the Loreal green primer. My favorite was honestly the Loreal one! It does the best job at concealing redness in my opinion and less expensive. It also doesn't have the silicone feeling like smashbox, I am not too crazy about that feel.

It's so slight that it seems better for maybe slight all over redness? I will admit it has a wonderful scent haha
