Hi Andi. Congratulations! My oldest son is 4.5, starting Kinder in August and my youngest is 25 months. :) I love being a mom! I've been struggling with losing weight with my first pregnancy and finally met my weightloss goal. If you ever want to chat or need fitness tips, I'm always open arms. :)

I'm not a mom but my live-in boyfriend has two little girls, 4 and 5, that we have five days a week. They are so much fun to have around but taking care of two extra people cuts into my own beauty routine! But I wouldn't trade it for anything :)

I lost my pregnancy wheight instantly, I just had a bit of saggy skin, but after two or three days it went :P
I love it too! Children are the most amazing things :)

@Andi, you are SO lucky you dropped off the weight instantly. I lost my baby weight but all the flab was still there, arms & thights. You know the fun stuff. :) I didn't really lose too much, then I got pregnant again and gained more. I struggled with trying to get back pre-preggie size but just recently in the past 2.5 months I finally managed to get back on track. Hello pre-preggie jeans! haha Kids are amazing. Everyday is different and so entertaining. Love being a mom. ~FitandFabMama

@Shalynn Troublemaker? Maybe not lol JK I know how that is! My two boys are monsters. Cute monsters. I'm glad that my oldest has a brother instead of a sister. They can totally wrestle and be rough together, omg, imagine that with a sister. OUCH. Poor thing. But I would love to have a little girl one day.

@Rachel, wow you have a busy household! I'm sure it gets crazy at times and that it's hard to practice your beauty rituals. I totally feel you! I remember I couldnt finish painting all of my nails because I had to chase my little monster around. haha Came to work with one painted nail. But it's okay, that chase was worth it. Have fun w/the kiddos and pls. KIT. :)
Everyone, thanks for replying. It's nice to see/meet other mommy's on here who are into beauty/makeup like me. Being a mom isnt easy to keep with beauty trend. It's a balancing act. Looking fly while caring for our children right? Sometimes we lose our own time to take care of ourselves because our energy goes to towards them.

Yay! More moms! I have a 13, 9 and 4 year old. They keep me busy. I work full time, have my fam, but have made time to take care of myself. I had been struggling with some weight issues, and since January, I have lost 23 pounds. I am back to my normal weight and couldn't be happier! Woo!

@JoAnne o U have no idea Jameson is no regular baby lol he's the type you gotta keep busy 24/7 He wont sit and watch tv you give him toys to play wit he good for a good 5 min then he looking for something. He's always been the active type even when i was carrying him constant moving and kicking I got no sleep But i love him he keeps me laughing all the time.

@Jacqueline WooHOo! Yes, high fives to all the moms on here! It's awesome to meet other moms who share the same interests. Some of friends aren't in tune into makeup/beauty as much as me. I try to find balance too. I also work full time, am married and with the 2 kids it's a zoo. I'm glad that you found time to take care of yourself. Life is too short, live it up right?!
@Shalynn, WOW, your Jameson sounds like an energy bunny. :) Your great entertainer! It gets overwhelming sometimes with my boys. Sometimes I get frustrated when it comes to eating out or going shopping but we find ways to make it work and provide all the love they deserve right? Life would be boring without our crazy little kids huh? haha

When I was pregnant for some reason I cared more about my skin, hair and makeup and all that jazz I even had my eyebrows done eyeliner on and kept brushing my hair while I waited in labor I didn't want to look a total mess lol. Even though he's a total busy body I still find time to make my self look and feel nice it uplifts my mood sometimes.

@Rena I am SO with you! I'm such a girly girl at heart, more so a person who values taken care of myself. Being a mom takes a whole lot of energy and finding time even if squeezed in for yourself is definitely a treat. Happy to hear that you find the time for yourself. :)

I love that you are acknowledging motherhood here on Beautylish. Being a mother is a truly beautiful job and experience. I have two wonderful girls who are ages 3 and 5. They just love playing with makeup and watching YT videos with me.
I also agree with the balancing part. As mothers, we are always putting the needs of our children and others before ourselves. But that shouldn't keep us from feeling beautiful inside and out. We have to remember to also take care of ourselves so that we can take care of our children. We owe it to ourselves to feel be happy and beautiful. Keep up the GREAT work Moms! You are all so beautiful! <3

I'm a mother of a beautiful 22 month old girl. who drives me up and down the walls. is it me or after having a c-section its hard to loose weight in the midsection =[? also loose skin? dose anyone else have this problem?. I have 35 more lbs to loose =[ it's such a task and i cant seem to get these's last few lbs off...grrrrr!!!

I had loose skin but it went away really quickly. I wouldn't know about c-sections but I can imigine it would be hard because of the scar :/ just eat right, or try going vegetarian, it's a healthier lifestyle and has very little fat :)
