I love maxi dresses but i always seem to trip over the bottoms ha-ha but im really excited becuase i have a new baby doll kind of style flowy dress to wear today :)

Yes ive notice ALOT of tribal design dresses, im also beginning to wear babydoll dresses. There was a baby pink color one at forever21. I could die for it !

I'm short as well, but I LOVE maxi dresses. I also like short dresses that stop an inch or two above my knees. Bright colors are my favorite, but a nice, white, cotton, summer dress is wonderful for a very hot day. Kimono dresses (I've seen some at Target) are good for a cover up if you're going swimming at the pool or the beach.

I don't own (or wear) a ton of dresses these days.

While I like the idea of the maxi dress, it's just a bit too long for me (I'm about 5'5"). A maxi skirt that can be worn as a dress may be a better option for us shorties, maybe?

If I don't feel like wearing shorts or lightweight pants, I'll wear a denim skirt that comes down to my knees.
