It soothes sunburn, and my mom swears by it for reducing any form of scars, as long as you apply it religiously the moment the wound has closed up. Some people mix it in aspirin mask to give extra moisturizing benefits.

Eating fresh aloe vera also helps with stomach ulcers. Apparently the gel lines the stomach, protecting it from acids, so it'll heal faster.

Any good health food shop or drug store will have aloe gel. Look for the 99.9% stuff. I use it for everything.

I get it from my botanical garden :) I apply 100% pure and fresh aloe gel
