You need a color correcting concealer. They diminish the look of dark circles, however they are shadows. So, depending on the light or the way you have your head angled, they can still be a bit visible even with the color correcting concealer. Also, proper technique is essential!

I swear by CVS undereye roller with caffeine...elevating my head a bit more when I sleep and Physicians Formula Youthful Wear. One end cancels discoloration while the other brightens. I use it with a light hand in a v shape beneath the eye..just along where the crease meets the nose..and across the cheekbone. I never use anything but a BB with SPF directly beneath my own eyes. I use a Beauty Blender and lightly pounce the corrector and such on. I lightly set it with translucent powder..but again..only where the crease meets my nose and cheekbone.

You're suppose to create a triangle under your eye starting at the outer corner to where the tip of your nose is and up. Dab or pat it with your ring finger because it applies the lightest pressure. Don't put foundation on top of it because it will only smear it. You can set it with a powder, but once again, pat it on. I really like the Sephora Airbrush Concealer brush a lot for application, more so than my finger. Hope that helped :) xo.
