Help!

I use to work in a career management center at my old college and boy have I seen some hot messes! People will remember you from when you go to pick up an application. I remember every face that has asked me for an application to the bridal store I use to work in and I knew off the bat which ones were going to get the jobs and which ones weren't. And I wasn't wrong with my guesses.

Wear a cute top, nothing to revealing or with any designs on it. Try to be formal enough for the formal places your visiting but like you would fit in if you walked into Forever 21 for an application. So no deep V's, one shoulders, shoulder cut outs, etc. if its cool enough where you are cute blazers can always be a plus! Jeans are fine, make sure they are proper fitting and aren't to loose or tight. Keep your make up AND jewelry tame. Subtle but really cute is always good. So pearls (real or fake), small studs, etc.would be appropriate. If you can wear heels a simple black pair of pumps never hurt anyone, if not then stick with cute flats.

You will want to wear something smart maybe like dark jeans and blazer and heels or maybe more formal depending on the job but not overly fashionable. Wear make up to look polished but don't over do it. Basicly just look smart and polished this is more important than the actual clothing. Good luck I hope you find a job soon (:

Is this ok?

Oh, and when you're done with your application turn it in directly to a manager, assistant manager, or someone else in charge. Sometimes they may ask you questions on the spot to get to know you a bit better if you look promising. That and I've heard of stories of associates 'misplacing' applications before. :/

Also, make sure your look is versatile enough so you can walk into anywhere and not to out of place. In one clothing store I worked at an assistant manager straight up told us not to give applications to anyone that looked like they could work at hot topic. Which I found funny as I applied for hot topic and got a call back from them. So just a word of advise.

If you have a darker pair of jeans I would do those instead. But that's still cute and I love that necklace!

Yes I was just about to say darker jeans too. Darker jeans will go really well with the necklace.
