Can you use concealer as a primer for your eyes? if so, do you use a lighter or darker shade?

Absolutely, especially if your eyelids aren't super oily and prone to creasing. I recommend using a slightly liquid concealer to make it easier to spread across your eyelid. Then set it with a powder before applying your eyeshadows.

Yes, I've seen many women use concealor as primer because they use the concealor for their brows and using the concealor as eyelid primer gives them a more even canvass...

Okay, so how do I apply the concealer? do I dab with a brush then rub it in? I don't know... just trying to learn all I can about makeup.

Yes you can use it if your eyelids aren't oily. I use it sometimes. Usually when I do my eyebrows I clean them up with concealer & blend it downwards on my eyelid. Or you can easily put a litle on your finger & blend it on your eyelid that way.

Since I'm doing my eyebrows the concealer is usually a shade or 2 lighter. But if your eyelids are an uneven skin tone, you can use something the same color as your skin.

Yes a lighter color will only make the eyeshadows pop more. Just blend it out all the way
