Does braiding your hair actually make your hair longer I've been braiding my hair instead of just putting it in a pony tail because its really nice/hot outside and easy and I did get a hair cut mabye 3 weeks ago and it's getting long again it really is..

Your hair grows either way. wearing it in a braid or off your face for a while just helps with you actually noticing that its growing. if you wear your hair down all the time, you're constantly looking at it and don't notice the growth. its like when you see a baby or a small child if you don't see them for a week you notice how much they have grown but if you see them every day you hardly notice.
