You could also try the ball roller kind. That's the kind I use. It's not pencil and its not liquid, but it goes on super easy and I love it!:)

Not either one but gel is a happy medium. I'd probably go with pencil being easier for me. Liquid, depending on the applicator, can be kinda messy and requires a steady hand!!
