Help with an everyday look?

So I start my new job tomorrow (yay) as an associate teacher in a children's classroom (not sure which grade yet). I know I'm not going to be able to wear anything super bright and out there, at least not just starting out and when I meet the kids parents as I'm sure some of them wouldn't be to fond of that (and I don't know my centers rules about makeup yet). So I was wondering what would be good for me as a good subtle everyday makeup look. I was thinking neutral eyes and maybe a red or coral lip? I dunno.

Oh, and the picture isn't what I'm thinking of! Just a reference for what my face looks like.

well if I was a parent meeting my child's teacher I'll definitely want to see a neat person , sweet and kind. so light shadows browns are best , not tooo thick liner but some , mascara of course maybe bronzer or blush but not to heavy! for the lips red or browns / nude :D and a matte finish (: for your hair top buns are best ( I love braid buns look fabulous!!) good luck(: <3

Thanks so much! I've never tried a brown lipstick, so I think I'll try the red look! I've got two bright hollywood-esque reds and one deeper almost purple red. Can't wait to play around with them.

I think that a natural look will be great. Foundation, concealer, mascara, just a little bit of blush and lip balm, an everyday look 😙

I think the look you are wearing in your profile picture is very work appropriate. I woul suggest adding a little more brown in the outer v to give a subtle daytime smokey effect. The red or nude lip will go great with that look. Good luck at the new job!
