I need help with eye makeup!

Hi I am 15 and I've never worn eye makeup. I've watched many eye makeup begginer videos, but I don't understand where to put eyeshadow. All I know is that you have to put a base eye shadow on. Does anyone have any pictures or could you tell me where to put eyeshadow?

Buy a too faced palette they have great instructions on where to apply the shadow with pictures and cards to help.
