I need some help to cover my acne for me to go to a party, and if necessary a waterproof makeup.

Use a green tinted concealer or primer to cancel out the redness. Follow up with a medium-high coverage foundation. Clinique, Revlon, and Makeup Forever all make good foundations for acne. Mineral makeup doesn't clog your pores as easily, which reduces the chance of causing additional breakouts. End off with concealer, Conceal RX from Physician's Formula is one of my favorites.
Keep in mind that in order to hide the texture of acne you would end up with extremely thick, cakey makeup. If you don't, the bumps will be less noticeable but still slightly raised. Good luck :)

Hi Barbara,

Try Make Up For Ever Face And Body Makeup - It is water based and non comedogenic and you can layer it for a full coverage that lasts (near waterproof).

Makeup Forever Mat Velvet + is a great foundation: it has amazing coverage yet is lightweight, reduces oil so that makeup doesn't slip, and is waterproof. It also has a huge range of colors to match yourself to and if you go into sephora, you can test it!

For me I apply the concealer as a dot on the mark/acne. I let it "cook" on my skin for 5-10min then blends it a little. Then apply foundation, either liquid/cream, or powder. If it's reeeally bad then I apply on top of foundation.

Kat von d lovk it concealer and foundation would work great. super good coverage, it was actually made to be good enough to cover tattoos the staying power is awesome and the coverage is definitely a full but looks really nice and natural. also cover your blemishes before you put on your foundation but don't wipe it just blot it Like in a stippling motion over the blemish then put on foundation and set it with powder.
