I'm building my kit up, I'm aspiring too become a make up artist! I'm looking for a foundation, different blends with a lot of coverage but also not too expensive! It needs too be great for photographic and catwalk make up! Wondering if anyone could recommend me some, as I'm stuck for choice on the wide range?

Use make up forever with velvet texture. Great coverage and all around amazing.

Hi Shaunna,
I agree with Akil - great buildable coverage and I also like Make Up Forever's HD Foundation and their translucent HD powder (one color for all skin types). It is a bit pricey but they have such a wide color range and it looks amazing on camera (you want to be sure there is no SPF as it reflects camera light)
Alternatively you could invest in an airbrush system which usually comes with all the shades you'd need, although the inexpensive ones such as Temptu wouldn't offer the same variety that MUFE (Make Up For Ever) does.
Hopefully that at least gives you a little guidance and good luck with your endeavors! xo

Shaunna, I would recommend a high end/professional brand if your becoming a mua. just as it looks more professional and often the products are better especially for catwalk and photos. not running Rimmel/Revlon/Maybeline down btw

I use the mac face and body if you are doing runways all the time and stuff thi stuf will last if not will go of in about a year.. I'd recommended getting the 4 colours of mac face and body, so you can mix and match.. :)
