Doesn't really hurt, gets in the way of everything when you first get it cause you aren't used to it. I always accidentally bit down on it by just talking or eating, so be careful of that. Once I bit it and it ripped through my lip.. Ha mine didn't take long to heal as long as you take care of it properly :)

I used sea salt soaks, the scar is kind of annoying. But if you don't mind it then go for it :)

Don't do it! I hated it I still have it the hole won't close you'll have an ugly hole or scar for the rest of your life it damages your teeth a lot it interferes with talking in the beginning because the bar is so long an it can cut your lip cause chips teeth overall there's more cons then pros just think about it.

I've had mine for six years. It's just under the middle of my bottom lip and I always wear a ring in it bc the labret ones are too short for me and irritate my lip. I love mine and would never wanna take it out anytime soon. I do remember it hurt pretty badly and if it ever grew closed for some reason I would be hesitant to get it done again bc of the pain.

I had a labret piercing in for about two years. Took it out about a year and a half ago because it started deteriorating my tooth enamel and gum lining. To this day my gum has not healed properly. If you do decide to go for the piercing, use plastic jewelry instead of the steel, just to be safe. It didn't hurt at all because it was so quick. My lip did swell up a lot which made it feel really weird when eating. Healed up in only a few months.

I had my snakebites done on the same day, didn't hurt at all. I've had them in for 9 years... I do have a chipped tooth though from when I bit down on one of the bars when I was eating :(
I hate to wait 6 weeks to change from the bars I got with the piercing to cute little bars.
Do it!! I hate my face without mine now!!
