Absolutely not! The UD 24/7 eye pencils (especially Perversion, best black eyeliner EVER) are some of the best on the market! Sometimes it's okay to splurge on your makeup, and these hold up to all their claims - smudge proof, creamy, pigmented, don't pull or tug on the eye, and come in SO many colors that drugstores don't have! I have never found a black eyeliner that I like as much as Perversion, and will continue to happily pay $19 for it.

I agree with Alice. I think expecting some 2 dollar drugstore crap to work as well as Assn urban decay eyeliner is silly. There are some amazing DS things, but they're few and far between.

The only thing is ever splurge on is foundation, concealer, and brushes. Everything else, you can always find a dupe.

I agree there are some good dupes quality-wise. The nyx slide on pencils are great, as Destiny said. But the thing that's hard to find at drugstore prices are the colors - the mix of opacity and shimmer and glitter is really really hard to find.

I love UD eyeliners! They're not the only things I use but I think they're among the best I've ever tried. I got a set of 6 for about £30 (I live in UK) and they are slightly smaller than the individual ones but only a little and it's a good range of colours.
