My husband has eczema pretty bad as well. About a week ago I looked up some recipes for sugar scrubs and have been rubbing it on him every night and you can't even see his eczema anymore! It's just sugar mixed with extra virgin olive oil and some essential oils for a better smell, then rinse it off with warm water.

I had dry patchy areas on my arms due to dry skin from the body wash I used in the shower. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me a cream that cleared it up in 2 days! O`Lay or SoftSoap washes work good because they're moisturized. For the face, I recommend Clean & Clear Morning Glow which is a good moisturizer, oil free, and good as a make-up remover. Hope this helps!

You may also want to try the first aid beauty ultra repair cream. Especially designed for people who suffer from severe eczema. They also have a line of cleansers that won't irritate the skin. Another alternative is to use a beauty oil like the nude skin pro genius oil which even works on people with psoriasis.

I've got the same problem, but the best advice I can give you is don't shower too hot or too long, and maybe go to a doctor, he can give you something for it.
