I was in the store the other day and I saw this thing called a blemish extractor. Are they safe for skin? Will they leave scarring? Are they okay to use with topical prescriptions?

Honestly I wouldn't buy one. It's best not to pick at your skin at all, and with those you are still picking at it.

If they are used corrctly they will not damage your skin. Its best to use it after your face is wash and your pores are "open" from warm water or even steam. Press gently yet firm and do not dig or drag on your skin. If break your skin it coukd cause scaring and the are safe to use with prescriptions. Your skin might be more sensitive from the prescription so be aware not to dig or drag and you should be fine.

Thanks guys! I get really bad whiteheads and I have the nasty habit of popping them. So I think I might get one to stop scarring.
