My hair was dyed a dark brown, and it's faded, so I thought I'd spice it up for Autumn.
I bleached my bangs with a 30 volume developer, and added a purple shampoo for 5 minutes, and it turned out a mix of orange and banana yellow tones. Is there any way to neutralize these tones? I heard ash blonde does the trick, but it turns it either a mousy brown or a green tint will show up. Also, I have no Sally Beauty Supply store where I live, so fail on that lol. Should I just get a light blonde dye to lighten it and hope for the best?

A 40 volume developer with destroy your hair so if you do go for it, be super careful! If you want platinum blonde hair you're going to have to bleach it again but give your hair a break before you do so. As far as getting rid of orange and yellow keep in mind ash is a blue base and removes orange and purple only removes yellow. Your best bet is having a pro handle it or if you know anyone with a cosmo license, see if they can get you the proper toner. (Paul Mitchell's UTA and UTP work pretty good) ;)
