Hey everyone, I'm moving in about a month and was wondering how everyone packs up their makeup for a move or has heard any tips on this? I don't have a huge collection, but it's not necessarily small either. We're driving, not flying. I just want to make sure nothing gets broken! Thanks!

Get a hard makeup case. And put news paper or even socks in between your makeup so it doesn't move around and potentially break.

Yeah definitely buy a hardcase and if possible it in the backseat near something soft. Safe travels.

I just moved into my new apartment and I was dreading packing up all of my makeup.
Use newspaper - I used a bunch of newspapers that were going to be recycled and started wrapping up all of my different palettes. I made the mistake of traveling without wrapping any products and was horrified when I reached for my newly shattered makeup. The extra protection will definitely help you out.
Zip lock bags - I stored lipglosses, lipsticks, nail polish and loose eyeshadows in separate zip lock bags so it will also be easier to sort when I was un packing.
I agree that treating your makeup like a fragile box is a must! I had mine in the front seat with me. Good luck with your move because I know moving can get stressful at times! Hope this helped you out a bit.

pack it yourself and put it in the car with you if you are driving, and don't leave your lipsticks in the heat, because they will melt! i would pack my lipsticks in my back pack, on a stop over to eat or rest, don't leave it in the car, take it with you! .....thats how i would do it. Sounds crazy i know, i don't have a huge stash either but i have enough limited edition lipsticks i don't want melted, so i treat them like my babies, lol!

yeah i think my makeup i would actually keep it in the front with me than a moveing truck but if you do def use bubble rap and be aware what your putting away that it wont melt or break. when i moved i kept it right under my feet instead of putting it where it can get crushed too.
