Splat Hair Dye?

I was looking to dye my hair a pastel purple, or mainly in the purple range. I was looking at Splat Hair Dye in Lusty Lavender. I have dirty blonde hair, and I have a few questions besides the obvious "Is it good or bad".
If I don't use the bleach on my hair will it still be as vibrant? I have naturally blonde hair, but it's a deeper shade of blonde so would it still work?
Can I add conditioner to the dye to lighten it to my preferred shade, Or do I have to let it fade in my hair?
Is the bleach safe to use? or should I go and buy a "better" separate bleach?
Will I have to use two kits? I have quite thick hair, and it reaches to about below my bust, so I was decided to buy two anyways just in case.

I won't recommed the splat dye, it doesn't last as long as manic panic and so on. You should bleach your hair so the colour show better and stay better even if your dirty blonde. You may add conditioner to the dye. If you let your hair fade its pretty much gone so just add conditioner instead. You should use HAIR bleach its safer then your old household bleach.buy two kits just in case if you need it plus if you don't you have extra for touch ups.

I have dark brown hair , I bleached the tips of my hair and dyed them "Lusty Lavender" with Splat Hair Dye. The color lasted about two weeks at the most (The box said 2-3 months). Don't use it!!
