I love mixing colors and textures, I spent my night making new lipstick shades and repairing broken lipsticks. It’s so easy and fun.
You will need
A candle
A Lighter
A spoon
A spatula
Some Broken or half finished lipsticks
And glitter
Some containers
Alcohol to sterilize your containers
Fixing a broken lipstick:
Step1: decant your lipstick onto a spoon
Step2: hold the spoon over your candle till the lipstick has completely melted
Step 3: pour the liquid lipstick into a sterile container and let it dry.
Creating a new shade of lipstick:
Step 1:Decant two lipstick shades of your choice onto a spoon. I used twig and hue by MAC.
Repeat step 2 and 3
Adding glitz to a lipstick:
Step1: I decanted Russian red by Mac and some fine glitter by Inglot onto my spoon.
Repeated step two and three.
The red has an gorgeous purple shimmer.
