Youtube and practice. Don't be upset if something doesn't turn out the way you wanted it too, it just means you need to do it a few more times before you get it right. Also, I'd suggest investing in some good brushes. It'll make a HUGE difference in how your end result turns out. I'd also suggest getting some makeup books (emilynoel83 has some great recommendations!!) so you can always use them as reference and learn about different techniques, terms, etc. :)

Watch on YouTube pixiwoo , misschievous, and xsparkage. Watch different technique tutorials they have. Don't worry about perfecting everything. Slowly add on different techniques and different types of makeup. But most important for starting out is to have a good dome eyeshadow brush. Like macs 224 & 217. Then you can start adding to your collection. Have fun!!
