I wanted to also but I didn't because: it makes your hair appear shorter, when it grows it looks bad, you need to shave and get it styled every two weeks max. if that doesn't bother you, go for it!

Do it. Nows the time to do odd ball things because as you get older (maybe not, but for me it happened this way) I wanted my hair to look more professional. (Maybe it was being the really young mom thing and I wanted to look reasonable) but in high school I had it really short and spiky in the back with really long bangs (devils locks I think?) and then I always had it different colors. Usually pink. But go for it. It's hair. It grows back. For about a year you'll have that awkward stage where pony tails will be problematic. But once it grows out to the top of your shirt or what not chop it all that length. My only sugestion... Do a different design. That one is crooked and I find looks odd.
