Go for it, you can pull it off. Do something similar to what you have in this pic. Maybe just add more brown shadow to the outer part of your eyes. Maybe add some falsies. Contour your nose a bit and add a highlight color, Red lipsticks and your done. (:

You basically have the look in the bottom picture. I'd do your bottom liner a little heavier. And your top liner do a thinner line and don't go all the way to your tear duct. Her face and nose is definitely highlighted and contoured. Red lip liner and lipstick and you're good to go!
