I thought it would be fun to talk about our hairs history! Have you died it 10 different times? Bleached it? Do you straighten it every day? Is it a virgin😳? Is it super damaged? Tell me tell me tell me!💁💇🙍🙆

I have been dyeing my hair for over 8 years in all sorts of colors. Red, brown, blue, pink, green, purple and now bleach blonde. Even had a coontail pony (shame on me)... Unfortunately it is very damaged now, so I'm thinking of dyeing it my own color again so I don't have to do anything about it :)

I've been dying my hair since I was in 6 grade which now I'm a senior!:)
I lost count I'm gussing about 40 or way more! I used to dye it everything month or every other month:D and I have bleached it about umm. 20 times:) around there!:)
My hair is not damaged'
Well just a bit I get slit ends! But I get it trimmed everything other week(:
I do curl it , straighten it every day! Depends on how I'm feeling!:)
I also use a hair mask for my hair so it won't be damaged:D

I used to highlight my hair when I was really young and then I bleached it in high school. It was SO damaged from the bleach! I don't even touch my hair now and I'm still recovering from damage I did 3 or so years ago. Half of my hair is still bleached from high school and the top half is completely virgin and awesome. I wish I never bleached it because I realize now that I like my natural color

My hair was black for 7 years then two years ago It was white blonde then purple. It's been a lot of different colors. It's just starting to grow back. I'm surprised its not damaged.

My hair has been thru 4 really awful hair cuts. Umm I've probably dyed it about 7 times since I was 14. My hair is its natural color now because I haven't dyed it in about 4 years. Its really long amd thick and hard to style every day, just because it takes forever. Right now I'd say my hair is pretty healthy. I do need to get it trimmed tho cause I like more layers than I have. :))

Disclaimer: please don't judge me for the stupid hair mistakes I've made, even as recently as last year. my dad is black (with a shaved head) and my mom is puerto rican (with thick, awesome curls that are easy to maintain), and neither had a clue how to care for my hair. even the friends and relatives I relied on for care tips led me astray!! it's all been trial and error, finally accepting and appreciating both sides on my heritage, and throwing out the g****** flat iron. lol
birth-tweens: my hair was pretty much always natural. my mom attempted a relaxer once or twice, but it never really worked out (came out like a texlax).
tweens: I pretty much did my hair myself, but it was awful. I never brushed it out or took care of it, just smoothed the visible parts into a bun while underneath it got matted. my mom cut my hair wicked short to get rid of the matted hair, then sent me to a friend who braided my hair once a month or so.
early teens: got a hold of a flat iron and damaged my hair everyday trying to get the "emo" look. lol. I was so clueless about hair care, I had no idea it was so bad.
teens: finally started getting my hair relaxed professionally, but, again I had no idea how to maintain it so more flat ironing, more damage.
early last year: I got too poor to pay for my relaxers, so my natural hair grew out. but I flat ironed it every single day, sometimes multiple times a day. the damage was insane.
I started watching mad youtube videos, reading blogs, etc.on ethnic hair care.
the last couple months I went totally natural, no flat ironing, lots and lots of moisturizing. I finally got over all the emotional and psychological issues I had with my natural hair, too which was good for me. I just got my hair relaxed a few days ago, and am finally confident I can grow it out and keep it healthy.

Had the same haircut from ages 2-14, then variations of the same cut from 14-now. I only dyed my hair once, two years ago for Halloween. I get a trim once a year. Use Suave Kids shampoo/conditioner/body wash 3-in-one or Palmolive dishsoap, no heat styling ever.
I'm the definition of low maintenance. ;)

Never dyed it. Only straighten and curl it with a straightener. Been wanting to dye it but everyone says I'll regret it. :/

My hair has been through a hair dyeing addiction in 8th grade I dyed my hair 2 times a week, I've went black I went blonde bleaching it I went bright red, I once bleached my hair from a black to white well over 12 shades I've had long hair I've had short hair I'm now growing out my hair and I finally am almost have my virgin hair color I just had a few highlights I covered up with a demi hair color so it would wash out, the product that saved my hair when I was bleaching it was redken extreme. I used to straighten my hair every day, now all I do is use a hair dryer to straighten it and I will be getting hair extensions when my hair is grown out enough to be able to get them.

I had long beautiful hair. I got highlights in the 3rd grade! Then 6th grade I cut my hair into layers and to shoulder length! let me say my hair was all the way down to my butt! 7 I had highlights. 8th grade I got the bottom half of my hair blonde all the way to 9, summer of going into 10th grade I got highlights & this summer of entering 11th I got ombré hair. So much bleach! I miss my hair being long, straight and beautiful! 😔

In 5th grade I had red streaks ;) haha it was so bad now that I look back on it! My sophomore year I dyed my hair jet black and it was a disaster :( The Revlon Luminista hair dye FRIEDDD my hair SO BAD! I barely finished recovering from that awful period my freshman year in college </3 I chopped off all of my hair up to my shoulders because it was so damaged. I also used heat a lot my first half of high school so my hair was so beat up ;[ but now it's healthy, and growing, and silky :D
