Its really hard being a beauty guru and you have to be committed to it. can't just say one day OKAY IM A BEAUTY GURU! You have to get there first. if you think you really want to start with a tag video, or august favorites something like that. and also make sure your videos are nice and edited so people will want to watch more. good luck:)

I think you should go for it. If your heart is in it and you love what you do, you will make many blessing to many people. Let your hair down and go for it. :))

I agree with Shannon. Also, you have to figure out what's going to separate your channel from other YouTubers that's going to make yours different and authentic from others. Ask yourself what makes you a "beauty guru"? what's tips and ideas can you share that hasn't already been said. It's one thing to be a "beauty guru" and another to be a girl who's into makeup and fashion and wants to share her looks.
Just have fun on your channel and upload videos that you want to upload. Oh, and try to invest in a good camera ;)

Being a so called " beauty guru" on YouTube takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and time! It's not something that happens overnight! As easy as people make it seem it's not an overnight thing.. Working hard and putting efforts in your videos and making it relatable to your viewers is key! Don't bore them will nonsense you want to get your point across but also show your personality through it! Anyone can sit and record themselves but it's YOU that makes it different!:) good luck! I also have a YouTube channel if you'd like to check it out TheFabulousGay1234...And also remember you have to love doing it or people are going to be able to know that you don't!:) you girls are all gorgeous! 😘❤

Rojo, others above put the point across that I was trying to make in your original post where you expressed your interest in making a YouTube page. It takes a lot of work and to gain the most attention, you have to set yourself apart. Rachel said it best above. Lots if competition out on YouTube so just remember to stay consistent and post videos regularly. Don't do it just to do it, your viewers will know when you're not genuine. Like Brandon said, and what I said in my original post, it doesn't happen overnight!
Have fun with it and I can't wait to see what you have to offer! Let us know when you have some videos up!

Also posting random stuff like empty bottle/products or hauls doesn't make you beauty guru.
