Don't listen to what other people say! they look really cute but if you want, you can change the color with fabric paint. I've done that and it looked great. just don't do that with leather! ;)

Not my style, but don't all budding designers make their own fashion? ;) if you like it, work it. to change them, I would cut of the top and remove the heel. they would be a lot cuter as flats...I have seen tutorials on youtube where people literally cut of the heel and sandpaper it down to its smooth.

Okay I tried finding the video for you but I can't...its one of those really weird ones you just randomly run into. ill try my best again but they softened the heel with a lighter and ran a knife down ( plastic...ya know?)...and sandpapered it when it hardened ( freezer)
