Acnevir acne cream advice? :)

A couple months ago I broke out on both sides of my face around my cheek area, but since then its healed A LOT and my skin is almost completely healed and clear. I've been using a bunch of different cleansers, but some dry out my skin very badly and cause me to get skin reactions from the dryness; which worries me. So I'm often afraid to try new medicines in case it makes things worse while my skin is in the process of finally getting better. I really want to use something that'll be fast to clean up the rest of the breakout, and I've heard that Acnevir works "like a miracle". Have any of you guys ever used it? And if you have did it work for you? I just need to know the experiences you guys have had for those who've actually used it before xD hahaha
