I'm aspiring to become a Make up Artist. I'm currently looking for schools to apply at and I was interested in some input about the industry and suggested schools. Also some starting tips that might help me to excel faster in this industry.

The best tip I can give you is, listen to your teachers and avoid missing days while studying. For the industry: I say carry a business card on you and try to gather potential clients from work experiences. This career solely relies on networking. Get your name out there and you'll do fine.

I use an online school callwd QC make up academy, I work 2 jobs and can't get a decent course near me thats worth the money they charge. one at my old college want?400 for a 1hour lesson 1 night a week for 6weeks , so when I found QC it was amazing, you get a personal tutor who senda you audio file feeback on a your work and you can do it at your own pace and if you get stuck they are just a phone call or email away.
