Bleach with little damage.

So the other day I bleached my hair and I've been told from a lot of women that it makes your hair awful and dry and straw-like, but that wasn't my experience at all! My hair has little to no damage at all. My stylist used a volume 10 but it did the job. Why does everyone say that bleach is so harmful?

It has chemicals that dry out and deprive the natural oils your hair makes. I recommend using color protecting shampoos and doing deep conditioners so that your hair doesn't get dry and brittle. It worked for me :)

It also depends on the volume of bleach being used. You had 10 while other people may do 20-40. But I use a volume 40 and my hairs fine..just depends on the hair.

LOL, because most people don't use 10 volume peroxide, dear. The developer is what does most of the damage.

I recently did my bangs twice with 20 volume, perfectly fine, but if I used 40 I most likely wouldn't have hair because it's super damaging and my hair has already been bleached several times.

I've bleached my hair 3 times, and yes the 3rd time has made my hair a little straw-like. I deep condition though so it's survived :) I won't be bleaching for a while. And it depends on volume and how many times you end up bleaching that part of hair.

Usually when girls bleach their hair they're trying to go blonde so they have to bleach it a few times which yes then does damage but the hair dressers would have much better products.

Usually when people beach their own hair that's when a lot of damage happens because they don't know what they are doing!
