Help anybody please I've just rang my hairdressers and asked them how to get bleech blonde hair to a more natural colour or brown and they told me I would have to dye it red first then dye it the colour I want but does anybody know what type of red I should do it and what brand need help :( please.

I'm not a hairdresser but then saying to dye it red first sounds a little odd... Reds one of the hardest colours to get out and if your hairs bleached it will go really bright! I had bleach blonde hair and I wanted mine a slightly different colour like a little darker.. Maybe some low-lights or even a toner?

It depends how dark you want to go, they told you to color it red first because you have to fill the missing pigments you stripped out of your hair. If you put a brown color on your hair it would turn a mucky greenish brown and wouldn't be able to stick to your hair. This is a corrective color situation and your better off just letting the salon do it, or if you do color it go to sallys to buy color, just don't use box color!
