I have curly black hair and I want to change it a little by adding a color or highlight? Maybe purple? I want it to look different. Please help if you know any sites I can look at or if you have any ideas for me thanks.

I've had bright blond underneath and black on top then changed it to bright bright red and I was in love with the red but I ended up getting a job so I had to dye it back all black. I've had highlights to and it looked nice but it'll make your hair look more brown. And it all depends on the look you wanna go for

When I had color I had my temples bleached in a strip and every so often I'd go over it with a new manic panic :) my bleach was very non-damaging. Prismlites blue and 20 volume developer :)

You'll have to bleach it, use a temporary wash out color, or you could get clips in highlights.

I also have black curly hair, and I had half head of highlights done, in two colors both shades of brown like a dark hazelnut. It was really nice I loved it, it wasn't too huge of a change but it gave some separation and added dimension to my curls. Also I could let it grow out (not have to up-keep it) and it wouldn't look unnatural or ugly.

If you'd like some bright purple colour and you're willing to damage you're hair a little, getting tipping cap and do as many tips as you like , bleach, even if its now a high volume, you do not need it to be white blonde it can be orange and the purple should hold, you'll just have to repeat once maybe twice a week! I had black hair, did this but with a pink/
Red colour and absolutely loved it!

I have black hair and I dyed one strip in the front purple and then red. I had to bleach it out though and it damaged my hair. But if you really do want to dye your hair I'd go with purple because it looks really good. I got a lot of compliments.

Oh, I also recommend dip dying so in case you don't like how it turns out you can just get a haircut to take it out.
