Help my hair!

I'm fed up with how my hair is smooth at the top and then due to my natural curls (which are quite dry/bad because I dye my hair a lot) my hair is thick at the bottom which makes it look like I have a triangler hair shape! It's just not nice! What hair style/cut is best to make it less thick...yes less!!
