I have an appointment soon,and I was wondering if I should get braces vs. invisalign? I want whichever does a better job at straightening your teeth.

DON't GET BRACES!! I hav them and they cut your lips and gums, poke you all the time, and really hard to get used to, lipstick looks bad with them, AND food gets stuck in them every time you eat! They are so uncomfortable!! I think you should get invisaline, because they look way more comfortable and they get the job done!

Someone else just asked a similar question lol. I have had Invisalign and I lovedd them! You can take them out when you eat so you don't have to worry all that mess getting in your braces. They only hurt the first day or two after you get a new set, and you can barely tell you are wearing them after.

I had braces and it took time to love them. EVERYTIME they tightened them, it was a pain in the royal ass. I'm not sure about the Invisalign.

Braces will straighten better and sometimes after you have braces you get invisiline right after to keep your teeth from moving.

I had braces and my sister did invisalign. A year after I got my braces off and she stopped invisalign my teeth were still straight and hers were starting to get crooked again. @Hollie braces are definitely not free. Js.

In my honest opinion, I would go with braces. Braces are guaranteeing you reaults and they're not that bad, I had braces for 3 years, yes your mouth gets sore you'll survive it'll be sore with invisalign too. Honestly I know if I could take out my "braces" I would have and I'd NEVER wear them because it'd be just like my retainer now. Go for braces

Braces, yea it'll probably hurt the first few days but that's because your mouth isn't used to the metal in your mouth and the process of putting them in. You can change the colors of the bands and if anything pokes you in the mouth they'll give you wax to put on it or you can get an appointment to have them shorten the wire. At the end when they take the braces off they'll give you a clear retainer (sorta like invisalign). If you choose invisalign, yes you can't really tell that you have anything there to straighten your teeth but the first few days they're uncomfortable (aunts words). I believe that when they go to get the mold for your teeth they put this molding putty on a "plate" that goes in your mouth and when I got that done for my retainers that practically gagged me so I couldn't imagine doing that everytime you go to get a straighter size. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that's the way they get a mold for invisalign.
