Some who I don't care for are Michelle Phan, for the same reasons as everyone else, and although she does have nice tutorials.. Jessica Harlow seems to be following in Michelle's path lately.

Lisaeldrigedotcom, givegoodface (jordan liberty) makeupbytiffanyd, their looks always are presented so flawlessly, and they are all quick, concise, yet very informative.

I like gurus that are strictly make-up based, I don't really have any interest in seeing fashion hauls or ootd videos.

But on the other hand I do love andreaschoice for her DIYs and creativity, and jlovesmac1 for her crazy hilariousness.

I just came across gossmakeupartist and he is amazing! he keeps his videos short but informative. He has so many great tips.
I also love pixiwoo because they are VERY thorough with their tutorials.
Finally, Leesha "xsparkage" is awesome. She is so positive and is great at using color!

I absolutely LOVE Nikkietutorials! She is so funny, fresh, and talented! She teaches so many techniques I have never heard of and she is extremely entertaining. She is a fashion makeup artist and I love the fact that she incorporates high fashion looks into her tutorials.
I don't like to "hate on" many gurus just because I make videos too and I don't like to put down anyone's hard work. However, I am not fond of the Fowler sisters. Blair and Elle just seem very fake :/

My favorite guru is definitely meganheartsmakeup. She has a lot of great makeup looks but she also has a lot of great fashion tips and just tips about life in general. She comes across so kind and positive, it makes it easy to enjoy watching her videos.
